KiwiWakame is located in Invercargill, New Zealand's southermost city. KiwiWakame's wakame is harvested from the pristine waters of Stewart Island and Foveaux Strait in the far south of New Zealand.

The plant is hand-harvested and freeze-dried locally which preserves the nutrients and delicious flavour whilst allowing a much longer shelf life than traditional sun-dried wakame.

KiwiWakame is the highest wakame seaweed, a sea vegetable highly valued for its nutritional qualities and delicious flavour which has been eaten in Japan and other Asian countries for many centuries.
